The Friendly Society is a trendy neighbourhood restaurant located in the bustling village of Elora. We are passionate about the art of hospitality and are committed to providing a workplace that supports growth and excellence in the F&B industry!
Our food + drink menus change seasonally, with a focus on local ingredients and suppliers. The Friendly dining room can host up to sixty guests, with an additional forty seats available on our sidewalk patio in the summer.
Our ideal candidate is mature, assertive, confident and kind when dealing with the public; works well under pressure and can prioritize in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm; thrives independently as well as in a team; is computer savvy; an excellent problem solver; can accommodate a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays. Experience with opentable & touchbistro considered an asset. Hospitality experience is preferred, however we are willing to train the right person!

We are looking for servers who are warm, hospitable, intelligent and naturally empathetic; can remain calm while working in a very busy environment; demonstrate kindness while problem solving with guests and coworkers; have basic cocktail skills; familiarity with touchbistro and opentable; can accommodate a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays and have a passion for hospitality.
